HockeyHKWS 25-26 Circular No. 4 - Open Trials for Bauhinia Players for Women's Winter League 2025/26

Dear Convenors,
The Women's Section will be conducting trials to select potential players for Women's Bauhinia league teams for the season of 25/26 with possible overseas training camp and exchange programs in the coming year (details to be confirmed later). Based on the earlier expression of interest, the Women's Section plans to field three teams (subject to final signups).
Details of the trial are as below:
Dates: 25, 28 August 2025 (Monday, Thursday)
Time: 18:00 – 19:30
Venue: Happy Valley Recreation Ground No. 11
Coaches: Coach Pholo / Coach Coby
Trialists need to attend 1 out of 2 sessions
Requirements
Between the ages of 12 & 21 - HKSAR passport / non HKSAR passport holders born between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013.
Selected players in Hong Kong are expected to attend training on Mondays and Thursday or Fridays at Happy Valley Recreation Ground. Training times will depend on team placement.. Games will primarily take place on Monday or Wednesday evenings. Regardless of opponents, players must play for Bauhinia in all matches unless explicit permission is received from the Bauhinia coaches.
For Overseas Players:
Players that are currently overseas but will be in Hong Kong for most of the league season will also be considered. Overseas players are required to send a 5 minute training or match clip (highlights also accepted) from the last 6 months that clearly identifies the player AND a playing CV for the past year. The above requirements must be uploaded to google share drive and the link sent to garychung@hockey.org.hk by noon, 18th August, 2025.

1. Late submissions will NOT be considered
2. If you are unable to attend trial sessions, please provide a reason beforehand. Late reasons will not be accepted and will be marked as absent.
