HockeyHKMS 25-26 Circular No. 15 - 55th Guru Nanak Hockey Tournament on 18 Jan 2026

Dear All Convenors,

The Guru Nanak Hockey Tournament, organised by Gurdwara Khalsa Diwan (Sikh Temple) will take place on Sunday, 18th January 2026, at Happy Valley Hockey Grounds from 09:30am onwards (depending on the numbers of teams entered).

All clubs affiliated to the HockeyHKMS are invited to participate and each Club may enter a maximum of 3 teams. The entry fee for each team is $300 and will be forfeited if any team withdraws after the draws are made.

This year, the Tournament will have the Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions.  The proposed entry requirements are as follows:

*Cup - Premier Division Teams (to be played in the afternoon)

*Plate - Division 1 to Division 3 teams (to be played in the morning)

*Bowl - Division 4 to Division 6 teams (to be played in the morning)

* Teams in higher divisions cannot enter the lower-level competitions.  Teams in lower divisions that would like to participate in the higher-level competitions require the approval by the HockeyHKMS.

Clubs interested in participating in this Tournament need to complete the attached entry form.  Those clubs that want to enter more than one team should fill in one form for each team (photocopy of the form is acceptable).

The entry form must reach the HockeyHK office at King’s Park before 5pm on 9th January 2026 and the cheques for the payment of the entry fees (Payable to “Hockey Hong Kong, China”) or bank in slip payment to HSBC 658-117635-838 (Hockey Hong Kong, China) before noon on 12th January 2026.

All Clubs are requested to send their forms and settle payment on or before the submission deadline. Otherwise, their applications will not be considered.

*Clubs will be notified of the fixtures and match format after the entries have been finalized.
