Recruitment of High Performance Coach

Hockey Hong Kong, China is seeking a dynamic High Performance Coach to lead our National Squads (Men’s and Women’s). Driven by the goal of participation at the Asian Games and FIH/AHF tournaments, you will plan and run training sessions to elevate our international standing.


Key Responsibilities

Review, re-design and manage the senior National Teams (Men’s & Women’s) high performance programme. Deliver elite tactical, technical, and data-driven training sessions. Lead to maximize players’ readiness and well-being by coordinating S&C, lifestyle and rehabilitation programmes across all Junior and Senior Squads. Manage the talent pathway, integrating junior prospects into the senior setup. Report to the High Performance Committee and engage effectively with the hockey community.


Requirements

Qualifications: FIH Level 4 / Highest national equivalent (e.g., Hockey Australia Advanced Coach, England Hockey Level 4).
Experience: 10+ years International elite coaching experience at international or top-tier professional level
Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern international hockey tactics, sports science, sports coding and performance analysis.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, culture-building, and communication skills. Fluency in English in required; Cantonese/Mandarin is advantageous.

We offer a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications. The initial term of appointment will be a 6-months contract. Renewal will be subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
