Dear Umpires and TPs,
HockeyHK Umpires’ Section is pleased to announce that the Umpire Refresher Course 2026-2027 will be held from 28 August to 16 September 2026. Both Umpires and TPs are welcome to attend.
Below are the details for the upcoming refresher courses.
(A) 28 Aug 2026 (Fri) 1930 KP (Conference room) (Cantonese)
(B) 3 Sep 2026 (Thu) 1930 KP (Conference room) (English)
(C) 8 Sep 2026 (Tue) 1930 KP (Conference room) (Cantonese)
(D) 16 Sep 2026 (Wed) 1930 HKFC (English)
To register for the refresher course, please complete the online registration form:

Please note that all umpires are required to complete an annual registration process.
For the annual registration process, you MUST
(i) pay the annual registration fee ($200) to 658-117619-838 (HSBC) and upload your bank-in receipt to the registration form with your full name and umpire number written on it (TPs are not required to make this payment)
(ii) attend at least one refresher course.
If you fail to complete this annual registration process, you will become an “Inactive Member” and you are not allowed to officiate any hockey games held in Hong Kong.
If you have been listed as “Inactive Member” for two seasons or more, you will be deregistered from the HockeyHKUS membership list.
Notes for online registration form:
1. Registered Club (Umpire Duties): each umpire should register with a club. This may not necessarily be the club he/she plays for. If an umpire does not register with any club, he/she can only do appointed duties, but not any club duty.
2. There will be four Refresher Courses scheduled in August and September. You are required to attend at least one of them. Prior online registration is a MUST. You may only register for ONE of them. There will be a quota of 40 for each refresher course. You will be put on the waiting list if the course is FULL. Anyone who has registered for one refresher course but fails to attend for any reason, may register for another course, but will only be put on the waiting list.
3. Please note that in addition to submitting the online registration form, you should also update the personal information on your Website account at https://www.hockey.org.hk.
You shall be notified via email before the scheduled dates whether you have successfully registered or not.
