HKHAMS 20-21 Circular No. 17 - Notice of Violations of Player Movement Rules

Dear Conveners,

Men's Section noted a number of violations of player movement rules as stated in the Men's Section Competition byelaws 7.4 that no player movement is allowed between any team in the Premier Division and the lower-ranked teams in their respective club until both (or more) teams involved have completed their first three matches of the HKHA Men's League season.

Please find below the list of breaches of the rules and the associated penalties. 

1.  7th March, 2021: Chung Cheuk Wang (no. 20) of Shaheen B played for Shaheen A without receiving prior approval from the MS Committee. Shaheen A will forfeit the subject match. The player involved will be suspended for ONE match. 

2. 7th March, 2021: Jasbir Singh (no. 17) of SSSC B played for SSSC A against Shaheen A without receiving prior approval from MS.  SSSC A will forfeit the match and the player involved will be suspended for ONE match. 


3. 7th March, 2021: Mohammed Adeel Khan (no. 11), Mohammad Amir Agagen (no. 21), & Ben Kamal Amin (no. 26 ) of Pak B played for Pak A against HKFC B without receiving prior approval from MS. Pak A will forfeit the match.  The players involved will be suspended for ONE match. 


4. 7th March, 2021: Tristram David Miner-Jones (no. 66) of Valley B played for Valley A without receiving prior approval from MS. Valley A will forfeit the match with the score of 0:3. The player involved will be suspended for ONE match. 

MS committee would like to remind all clubs to observe the player movement rules in the MS Competition Byelaws as these rules have been in place for years.
