Dear Convenors,
The HKHAWS would like to draw your attention to the following issues:
Kindly be reminded of the following:
- Teams must ensure the club umpires arrive on time. The WS reserves the rights to regard the umpire as no show if they arrive late.
- According to the Competition Bye-laws 9, teams are reminded to wear the correct uniform. Away teams are responsible to change if there is a clash on the color of shirts and/or socks with Home team.
- All participants are responsible for their own behavior and conduct to maintain good sportsmanship for all Hockey Competitions. The Code of Conduct is reattached for your information.
Committee Role Opening
The WS is looking to co-opt two members on the committee for Honorary Secretary and a General Committee Member. Clubs are welcomed to nominate individuals for committee consideration by 20th January, 2022.
King’s Park Refurbishment
Please note that there will be refurbishment of the metal roofing system and spectator stand for King’s Park Hockey Ground starting from January to February 2022. The spectator stand will be closed by phase and will not affect the usage of hockey pitch.
