HKHAWS 23-24 Circular No. 3 - Bauhinia Open Trials

The Women's Section will be conducting trials to select potential players for Women's Bauhinia league team for the season of 23/24 with possible overseas training camp and exchange programs in the coming year (details to be confirmed later).

Details of the trials are as below:

Trial period: Every Monday and Friday between 7th August 2023 to 4th September 2023
Final selection date: 1st September (Fri) and 4th September (Mon)
Time: 4:30p.m. –  6:00p.m.
Venue: King's Park Hockey Ground
*Players should attend all sessions during the trial period as well as the two final selection dates.

Requirements  

Under 21 - HKSAR passport / non HKSAR passport holders born on or after 1 January 2002. 

Selected players in Hong Kong are expected to attend training on Mondays and Fridays 4:30p.m. – 6:00p.m. at King’s Park Hockey Ground, and participate in Wednesday night matches. Regardless of opponents, players must play for Bauhinia in all matches unless explicit permission is received from the Bauhinia coaches.

Players that are currently overseas but will be in Hong Kong for most of the league season will also be considered. Overseas players are required to send a 5 minute training or match clip (highlights also accepted) from the last 6 months that clearly identifies the player AND a playing CV for the past year. The above requirements must be uploaded to google share drive and the link sent to nortonleung@hockey.org.hk by 12 noon, 4th August, 2023.
