Dear Convenors,

As discussed in the AGM that last season, there were lots of games cancelled at short notice due to no-play-request and the scheduling of the postponed games came late owing to the planned schedule and the pitch constraints.  To avoid any unnecessary delay in deciding the fixtures or inconvenience, the committee has decided to remove the no-play-request policy to stop the last-minute cancellation of match.  Instead, a provisional fixture will be circulated for comment before the start of the first half and the second half of the season.  The special requests made in the team registration will be considered while making the provisional fixtures.  The comments on the provisional fixtures would be entertained as far as possible.  After the announcement of the finalized fixtures, requests for postponement could be made according to the Competition Bye-laws 11.12, an administrative levy shall be accompanied.

The provisional fixtures of the first half of Winter League 23/24 is attached.  Please kindly submit any comments by 5pm, Monday 4th September 2023.  The club umpiring duties will be included in the final version of the fixtures that will be announced on 8th September 2023.
