HockeyHKWS 23-24 Circular No. 20 - Update on 5-a-side Tournament Rules,Umpires and Team Registration

Dear All Saturday Teams,

To clarify, all Saturday teams across all divisions are automatically enrolled in the 5 aside tournament. Please find below important updates.

1) Player Movement:
Core-Players
In line with Byelaw 7.2b, core player movement is permitted during the 5-a-side Tournament.

Non-Core Movement Cap:
Non-core player movement is restricted to 3 players per team.

2) Substitutes:
Each team will be allowed 5 field playing substitutes instead of the 4 specified in the FIH 5s Rule 2.3.

3) Updated Umpire Duty Schedule (Attached):
Please be reminded that each team in D2-D4 must provide their own umpire. Prem & D1 will have appointed umpires.

4) Team Registration:
Team representatives will have to provide a completed registration form (attached) 30 minutes prior to the start of your division slot.
