HockeyHKWS 24-25 Circular No. 29 - U12 Training Academy Trial

Dear Convenors,

HockeyHKWS is excited to announce the opening of the new season of the U12 Training Academy Trial.

Programme Details:

Dates: Every Monday and Friday from 25 April to 30 June 2025

(Re-registration will be needed for each quarter)

Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Venue: Happy Valley Recreation Ground Pitch no. 11

Quarterly Fee (April–June): HK$375

Trial dates: 11,14 April 2025, the final results will be announced one week later.

Official starting date is 25 April 2025

Requirements:

Age: Girls aged 8-12 (born between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2017)

Skill Requirements: Participants should have a basic knowledge of hockey

Equipment: Mouth guard and shin pads are required. Participants should bring their own hockey sticks.

Registration Process:

Complete the Trials Registration Form and submit the signed waiver form by 9 April 2025.

Payment: Payments are due upon confirmation from the office.

Players without a signed waiver will not be allowed to participate in trials.

Why Trials?

To ensure every player receives individualized attention and suggestions for improvement.

To give coaches sufficient time to work with all players.

To maintain a high standard of training and development.

Players who are not yet ready to join the academy will leave the trials with actionable feedback and are welcome to join the next phase of trials after working on their skills. This ensures a positive and supportive experience for all participants.
