Dear Convenors & Umpires,

HockeyHK, China will organize 2 courses during 2-4 March 2026 in Hong Kong for individuals wanting to act as umpires at initiation/beginner/foundation level.

1) FIH - AHF Level 1 Umpire Course

2) AHF Introductory Course for Youth Officials

The courses will be interactive introductions to the skills and knowledge needed to become a hockey umpire.  Details of the courses are as following:

1) FIH - AHF Level 1 Umpire Course 2026

Quota: 30 candidates

Instructor: Mr. Faiz Muhammad

Course Fee: HK$300 (uniform, theory test, refreshment, and certificate included)

Requirement: Aged 16 or above, applicants do not require any prior experience of hockey umpiring or officiating.

Participants who completed the umpire course with theory test passed will obtain the HockeyHK, China Umpires TP (Theory-passed) status.

2) AHF Introductory Course for Youth Officials 2026

Quota: 30 candidates

Instructor: Mr. Faiz Muhammad

Course Fee: Free of charge

Requirement: Aged 18 or below, applicants do not require any prior experience of hockey umpiring or officiating.

Schedule:

Level 1 Umpire:

2-4 March 2026 (Mon-Wed) – 19:30 – 22:00

Introductory Course:

2-4 March 2026 (Mon-Wed) – 16:30 – 18:00

Venue: King’s Park Hockey Ground

Language: English

Payment method:

i) Cheque

- Make payable to “Hockey Hong Kong, China” and write down 1) course name, 2) full name of the applicant and 3) telephone number at the back of the cheque and send to Hockey Hong Kong, China, 1/F, Administration Block, King's Park Hockey Ground, 6 Wylie Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong

ii) Online payment / ATM transfer

- Transfer payment to HSBC 658-117619-838 (Hockey Hong Kong, China) and you are required to submit the payment proof in the google application form (Bank in slip must show the HockeyHK account number and amount deposit and date of deposit.  Absence of bank-in slip or missing required information will be deemed as unsuccessful payment)
