Dear Conveners,
The Guru Nanak Hockey Tournament, sponsored by the Sikh Temple (Khalsa Diwan), will take place on Tuesday, 27th December 2016, at King’s Park Hockey Ground and the Club de Recreio from 10:30am onwards (depending on the numbers of teams entered).
All clubs affiliated to the HKHAMS are invited to participate and each Club may enter a maximum of 2 teams. The entry fee for each team is $300 and will be forfeited if any team withdraws after the draws are made.
To make tournament more competitive, clubs with teams in Premier Division and First Division will enter their first team into Cup competition and their second team, if applicable, into the Plate competition. Due to the pitch constraints, the tournament will accept maximum eight teams each for the Cup and Plate competitions.
Clubs interested in participating in this Tournament need to complete the attached entry form. Those clubs that want to enter more than one team should fill in one form for each team (photocopy of the form is acceptable).
The entry form together with the cheques for the payment of the entry fees (Payable to “The Hong Kong Hockey Association”) must reach the HKHA office at King’s Park before 5:00 pm on 13th December 2016.
All Clubs are requested to send their forms and settle payment on or before the submission deadline. Otherwise, their applications will not be considered.
*Clubs will be notified of the fixtures and match format after the entries have been finalized.
