HKHAUS 17-18 Circular No. 5 - Beginner Course

Dear All,

Please find below details of our upcoming Beginner’s Course and it will be conducted in English.

The course will be split into 2 sessions.

Session 1

Date:               23 October 2017 (Monday)

Time:               7 pm – 10 pm

Venue:            King’s Park Conference Room and Hockey Ground

Content:          Rules Talk + Practical Session

Remarks:         Participants should prepare your own hockey equipment and umpiring kit (whistle and cards).

Session 2

Date:               24 October 2017 (Tuesday)

Time:               7 pm – 10 pm

Venue:            King’s Park Conference Room

Content:          Rules Talk + Written Test

Course Conductor: Alistair Clark

Alistair has umpired at every level in the UK, from men’s/ladies’ lower XIs through to the men’s/ladies’ Premier Division teams that contain several recent male and female Olympians. His umpire coaching experience covers the same range of umpire levels. He has been coaching one female umpire on one of her first ever games, and then coaching her at each subsequent level until she became a ladies Premier Panel umpire.

For those who are interested at the course, please read the procedures carefully.

There are limited seats and seat will be assigned on the basis of UPT (Umpire per team). Clubs with lower UPT will be given higher priority. Successful applicants will receive an email and have to pay $100 to (The Hong Kong Hockey Association – (HSBC – 658-117619-838)) and email your bank in receipt to (maggiechan@hockey.org.hk) on or before 22 Oct 2017.
